"looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him ENDURED THE CROSS, DESPISING THE SHAME, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
"though He was a Son, He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been PERFECTED (becoming mature and complete toward His Father in righteousness), He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him." (Hebrews 5:8,9)
"For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4:15)
Isaiah prophesied of Jesus: "He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth."(Isaiah 53:9)
Can FAITH in Jesus Christ (the revelation of Him) WITHOUT THE WORKS that perfected Him to become the author of eternal salvation, save us to the uttermost? For "He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God THROUGH Him! (Hebrews 7:25)
Keeping His commands from the Father results in a soul that "cannot sin" (1 John 3:9) because that soul is "practicing righteousness" (1 John 3:7) by "abiding in Him"(1 John 3:6).
