Have No Fellowship with Unfruitful Works

‘Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.'
(Ephesians 5:6-11 KJV)

'This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
(1 John 1:5-7 KJV)

'And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. (1John 5:20,21 KJV)

Ask for the understanding that the Son of God has come and given to John. Keep asking! We may know Him-that is true. We may be in Him-that is true: even in the testimony of His Son, Jesus Christ. Prove what is acceptable to the Lord!

Are You Certain? Bring Your Self to Him!

'And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is a lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? BRING HIM HITHER TO ME.

And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.' (Matthew 17:14-21 KJV)

When the certain man eventually came to Jesus, He cured his son. Later, when His disciples came to Jesus apart, He taught them how their unbelief could be removed. Lord! We ask you to help our unbelief! We bring ourselves to You!

This One will Have whatever this One says

‘Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, "Let no one eat fruit from you ever again." And His disciples heard it.'
(Mark 11:12-14 NKJV)

'Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away." So Jesus answered and said to them, 'Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.'
(Mark 11:20-23 NKJV)

'I do not pray for these alone (His disciples at that time), but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as you have loved Me.'
(John 17:20-23 NKJV)

Jesus ended the expression of that fig tree. It's out-of-season fruitlessness was now subject to the true vine. If we follow what Jesus proclaimed to His disciples: speaking to remove this mountain which stands in the way, we should begin to see, and have the testimony by which the Father glorified the Son and His disciples.
