But We See Jesus

"But one testified in a certain place, saying:

'What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that
You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, and set him over the works of Your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet.'

'For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. BUT WE SEE JESUS, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which He is not ashamed to call them brethren,.." (Hebrews 2:6-11)

In the NKJV, the preface of the epistle to the Hebrews states that "many Jewish believers, having stepped out of Judaism into Christianity, want to reverse their course in order to escape persecution by their countrymen. The writer of Hebrews (presumed to be Paul) exhorts them to 'go on to perfection'."

"We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, keep yourself from idols. Amen." (1 John 5:18-21)

Paul and John (and those following them) understood that those who were being born, or made by God so to speak, do not sin. They do not transgress (go ahead of; depart from; fall away) in the midst of the discomforting circumstances. They receive what "the God of all comfort" provides in the testimony of Jesus.
